Today 3/21 is World Down Syndrome Day- So fitting since Down Syndrome is the third replication of the 21st chromosome! It is my hope that one day Down Syndrome truly will be celebrated around the world so that all the children of this Earth can have a chance to succeed and have a life. Rather than the fate of the institution at the age of four, where life expectancy is short. Instead, these children should be allowed to flourish in a loving, caring and supportive family setting where they are celebrated!
