I ran in the cold

So my stuff still hasn't come in yet, but I decided to give winter running a chance. When I woke up at 8 today weather.com said it was 31 degrees outside, so i threw on a pair of track pants, sports bra and tank and a hoodie with gloves.I thought that once I got moving that I would be ok.Oh how wrong I was.I started out fast and good, but my throat burned soooo bad that I had to stop and walk.I was so pissed at that but it is what it is.I think tomorrow I may go to the gym and run on the treadmill, my least favorite thing but it is just so darn cold! Then again, maybe I'll just try again tomorrow outside.
Ive also realized that one of the problems that I have is that I'm not comfortable running outside near my campus.I think its because of my position on campus.I work in the residence halls and therefore have to know like everyone. So I don't know if it will just get better as I get better or if I will have to find someplace else to run. What do you all think?

On a different note as ya'll know Im in college now, and I will be doing my observations and student teaching next year.I currently am an R.A. on campus and Im just wondering if I will be able to actually do both because i have heard that observation and student teaching are very intense and require a ton of time.So I am wondering if I can handle both, and if there will be enough time in the day for both student teaching and RA-ing with the events, staff meetings, floor socials and paperwork involved.I'm thinking that there truly isn't enough time for both and i would hate to burnout on teaching before I even get started at it!
So my plan is to go to financial aid and see what financial aid will give me since I'll be in my fifth year of college for my BA and go from there. It is so stressful, and I wish I could run more outside!
