Hello!

Hi everyone!

I have started this blog to chronicle my journey to the Disney World marathon in January 2010. You may be thinking that that's a long time away.Indeed, it is a long time away,about thirteen months.However, I know that running 26.2 miles and not dying somewhere along the way is going to take a lot of time.I have never really ran too much before,unless you want to count cross country in middle school so I know that to work up to 26.2 is going to take time.

I have also chosen to run this marathon and hopefully be successful in fundraising through it for Reece's Rainbow.Reece's Rainbow helps to find families fo

r orphan children with down syndrome and other special needs around the world. The work that they do is truly inspiring.Currently RR is celebrating the Angel Tree.The Angel tree is where all of the children that are available for adoption are posted in one place, and with a donation of $35 or more you not only help to save that child's life but you also get a lovely Christmas ornament with the child's picture on it.

I'll be setting up a fundraiser bar as soon as I can figure out how to do so,I'm totally new to this whole blog thing and would love any help people can give me!
